New project at War Memorial

Over the last couple of weeks, a few of the Banstead Village in Bloom volunteers have been working on a new project at the War Memorial roundabout. Funded by Reigate and Banstead Council, they have built a beautiful raised bed from sleepers. If you've been watching their progress you would have seen that we had a major interruption this week. A huge hole was dug by contractors to gain access to utilities. Fortunately, they didn't damage the work that had been carried out and today our guys finished building the raised sleeper bed.
